Dilru Ratnaweera is a senior leader in the apparel and textile industry with over two decades of experience driving innovation at the intersection of science, technology, and fashion. As the Director of Technology Innovation at MAS Innovation Pvt. Ltd. (Twinery), he has led multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, technologists, and business leaders to pioneer cutting-edge solutions to address un-met and under-met needs in the apparel industry. With a strong academic foundation including a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Dilru has authored over 50 international publications and contributed to numerous patented technologies that have redefined global industry standards. Known for fostering collaboration across academia and industry, he is deeply committed to mentorship, creative experimentation, and building future-ready innovation ecosystems.
